The tour to Huizhou, one of the cities in the Greater Bay Area was conducted on 9th July, 2018 and it was an enlightening, eye-opening and valuable experience for the students as they could visit Nameson Holdings Ltd, which was one of the leading knitwear manufacturers in the PRC. It supplied quality knitwear products to internationally renowned apparel brands such as UNIOQLO, Tommy Hilfiger and Lands’ End. Mr. Wong Ting Chung, BBS, JP, the Chairman and CEO of the company not only welcomed the students to his plant but also shared with them his 30 years of working experience in the knitting industry. He did encourage our students to work hard for their goals no matter how difficult or impossible the tasks might look. After then, the students visited the Jin Jia Zhuang, a famous supplier of health food and an organic farm in Huizhou. Through this visit, students could gain a first-hand knowledge and understanding of the occupation and business opportunities in the Greater Bay Area.
