Understanding Chinese Culture Workshop : The Four Great Heroes of Ancient Times (S.1);Understanding Chinese Culture Workshop : The Evolution of Chinese Characters(S.2)

In the Ancient Four Heroes workshop, S.1 students learned about female heroes through kite-making, fostering appreciation and challenging gender stereotypes. In the Chinese Character Evolution workshop, S.2 students explored the origins of Chinese characters and hand-written oracle bone script, enhancing their understanding of Chinese culture and promoting appreciation for its diversity.

Salt & Light Tour - Experiencing the fishing village traditions at Tai O

Embarked on a fascinating day tour at Tai O, a picturesque traditional fishing village in Hong Kong,  students immersed themselves in the age-old art of making salted eggs, where they experienced the intricate process and rich history behind this culinary tradition of the Tanka.  Entering Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chapel, students were greeted by the stunning three-metre long statue of Sleeping St. Joseph, signifying the devotion and faith of St. Joseph. Experiencing the joy of a day filled with cultural discoveries and hands-on activities, students strolled through the stilt houses built above the river bed, marvelled at the diverse biodiversity that thrived in the surrounding mangroves and waterways.
